Forward/backwards on mouse shows red circle.

Let me just start of by saying that this is my first post here and I don't know if this is the right board.

I don't know what the hell I did but I get a red circle with white forward and backward arrows when I use the mouse forward/backward buttons.

All I know is that I was browsing the control panel to find the performance thing but I didn't enable/disable anything. I've tried looking through the whole control panel but I can't find anything.

Would someone please help me get rid of this?

Oh the theme is zero-g which I've had for a few days but this happened just now.

EDIT: Should I mark this as solved? I'm not sure because it wasn't really solved, just.. lucky.

I got some updates to this. It seems like it could be the mouse software I am using.
After restart it happened again so I opened the mouse software and tried but it was still there and then I closed it and then it disappeared.
