I just upgraded my computer Mac-Mini OS from Windows xp 32bit to Windows 7 Professional 64bit. When I had Windows xp I had sound, but since the upgrade there is a red circle with a white x over my speaker at the bottom right of the screen and when I put my mouse pointer over the speaker with the red circle and white x over it-- it says "No Audio Output Device is installed".... I have tried everything from troubleshooting, and seeing if the drivers needed to be updated and it says the drivers are working properly and don't need to updated. I am not that computer savvy so I'm not sure if I am looking in the right places. I cant find where it says to look under Device Manager for sound, video and game controllers, my computer says "system speaker" -- I think that's where I am suppose to look for problems with audio?? But anyway I had sound up until I installed the Windows 7. Does anybody have any idea how I can get my sound/audio back?
