Just tried to upgrade from v4.1 and got 'access is denied'?

Right click the install file and "Run as Admin" and see what you get. You can also uninstall the old version first.

Thanks, I just dl & ran it successfully from the link above Instead of trying to upgrade from my current Foxit app.

Just a curiosity question. I used to use foxit reader, but could not read PDF folders until I downloaded Adobe. Would someone be kind enough to explain to a noobie (at this stuff anyway) why I would need both? I liked Foxit but couldn't see why it vwas uesful.

Hello essenbe, I think that the majority do not use both but use foxit as an alternative because it is light weight in comparison to other PDF readers.
