windows 7 ult 64bit problem loading avast and word 2007

hello all i have another dell e6430 core i5 and i have a ssd and well i can load windows 7 ult 64bit on it with the win key thats came with the laptop but im having a problem loading avast anitvirus and microsoft word 2007 when i try load avast direct from the avast site it comes up with a error and dont install saying unable to open file c:\programdata\avast software error code 3 and when i try to install microsoft office 2007 it comes up with a bootstrap error i have bios installed to the latest and well im wondering would it be down to the way my bios are set on for the ssd . i already have a dell e6430 core i5 64bbit and i set bios to the same as the one thats working already .i was also thinking is there any drivers etc that i can copy over to folders in my c drive that will let this work i have tried a few things with the bootstap fix but its not working . i can get all working with windows 11 but tbh i cant stand windows 10 orf 11 i love the simple of windows 7

Have you installed the .NET Framework Updates - if not that could be the cause of the Office installation failure.

hi firewatch i have .net installed and still the same everything i try dont seem to work im not sure what im doing wrong with the with getting this bootstrap error and the error that wont let avast antivirus install either when i take out my ssd from my other laptop it works great . i did this fresh install before of a new os and it worked before but now i cant understand why its not working

It looks like Office 2007 needs at least NET Framework version 3.5 so the question is whether your installed version is that or higher. - Some of the Wndows Updates may not have installed, so you might only have an earlier version, it's worth checking the updates.
With Avast, the error code 3 seems to be a server communication failure. That suggests a network problem or Firewall blocking access.

thanks Firewatcher i must check and see i just cant think what is wrong as i have put a frest install on windows 7 ult 64bit on my laptop before a right few times and dont think i ever came across this problem . i have great fiber fast internet and im wondering as you say maybe conflicting things thats why i cant understand when i do a clean fresh install using my laptop win 7 product code and load the wifi drivers and put on firefox and chrome then when i go to the genuine avast website to put on the antivirus whatever i do it comes up with that error unable to open file c:\programdata\avast software error code 3
