FPS problems in almost every game. Need help.

Hi guys. I am new to the forum and I realy wouldn't post my new thread about a problem but I realy dont know where else to turn.

So I bought Toshiba SATELLITE L50-A-1DH(Specs below.) a year ago and I was able to play games that requires nice specs, like Skyrim and then I had to lay off games for about 4 months. Now I have returned... but with a great problem.

Currently I have an up to date Windows 8, graphics driver, fixed registry, overall a clean pc but I dont use any anti-virus programs. I've been playing Wasteland 2 and The Evil Within for 3 days but max fps I get from Wasteland 2 is 30(and thats when there isn't any effects that would give a hard time.) with optimal settings. And for The Evil Within I get 24. Its realy annoying and hardly playable.

I am also using a game booster program and I have set all the options for performance in windows system options (probably).

So I'd like to know whether my specs are not enough for these game. Or am I missing some important calibration for graphics card or anything I can do to get the most of the pc .

Hi Sero, I see you're running windows 8.1? we have a sister forum that deals with 8 and 8.1 installs, there might be a software issue that maybe underlying and these guys over here at Windows 8 Forums can help a little better than us mere mortals at 7, someone may come along with a little advice on here but the majority are equipped to deal with windows 7 problems, do not fear young Paddawan, help is just a stones throw away, use the force....
