I've been using it for about a month on my laptop, but I have used it for longer in a Win10 VM for the initial install and update of a range of programs. I used to use Ninite but this is more flexible.

It had a problem with GIMP in detecting my version probably because I had a bad install some time in the past which had leftovers. I also have professional versions of a couple of the programs. That might work but I didn't chance it. Fortunately it is easy to turn off individual programs. If you schedule it you have the option of running in the background but I prefer to see what it is doing.

It is called 2Tware Convert vhd (ignore version numbers & buy now button)

It did fine.

SoundMixer : Windows Volume Mixer open/autoclose

SoundMixer is a utility to add some automation to the Windows Volume Mixer Window. It is an AHK Hotkey program that sits in the Task Tray. If you left click its Tray Icon or the system speaker icon, it sends an Alt x to the Volume Control Window to bring up the Volume Mixer Window. The hotkey Control Shift v will also do this.

When the Volume Mixer Window loses focus, such as when you click the desktop, taskbar, or another window, the Volume Mixer Window is closed.

The zip file includes the exe file, Readme.txt, the ahk source code, and custom icon.

Absolute Uninstaller vs Revo Uninstaller

I currently do have RU installed, what do you suggest guys? Should I switch to AU? What are the differences and powerhouses? (In terms of rinsing unnecessary registry files)

AU is poorly rated by CNET users.
RU is highly rated by CNET users.

I have only used free version of RU and it has not failed me so far.

I believe the free version of RU only uninstalls 32-bit programs,
for 64-bit you need a different tool, but 64-bit programs are rare.

Not really. One quarter of my total installed programs (roughly 125 total) are 64 bit.

Is anyone else having the same problems with this thread I am having? It keeps showing up in my New Subscribed Threads list every time I click on my User CP showing Kari as the latest poster (and it has been quite some time since he last posted in here). Every time I see this thread listed, which is every time I click on User CP, and click on this thread, it takes me to my last post (#611), which is at the top of page 62 on my computer, even if I've already read the entire thread and no one else has posted.

Try unsubscribing from the thread and clearing your cache, then re-subscribe to see if it helps.

I've noticed it to.

It may have been a residual effect of my asking the Admins or Mods to move post#612 to #632 in the "free great programs for Windows 7" thread to whs's macrium tut.

If you click on the link it will show my used to be post #632, clicking on the thread link in the upper right corner

will take you to my now Post #1422 and that will explain more. When the move was made there was one post by Kari after mine to Gary omitted and one post after mine added by Kado.

The new series of post are #1403 to #1423 in whs's tutorial.
