Free Video Joining Program ?

That's sometimes all you need.
I also work with Adobe Premiere for really big projects - but rather occasionally I have to admit. Used to use it way more in the past but don't have a need anymore.

If you're looking for the IMO fastest video converter, check out Ojosoft Total Video Converter. I tried it and was absolutely amazed by the incredible speed it offers. It's payware though.

Gern geschehen.
Ich habe mal ein paar Jahre am Baumgartner Spitz im 14. Bezirk gewohnt. Das Haus mit dem Schwimmbad oberhalb der Strassenbahnhaltestelle neben den Gärtnereien - wenn es das noch gibt.

BTW, did you already make a test run with Ojosoft?
I have tried gazillions of different programs for conversion but this one is blazing fast - by the factor 10 at least compared to other software.

Meinst du das?
Ich bin allerdings gebürtiger Hamburger... :)
Ja das sieht so aus. Schwierig nach so vielen Jahren und aus der Luft. Ich glaube das war unser (gemietetes) Haus. Die grossen Gebäude in der Nachbarschaft gab es aber damals noch nicht.

Did not try it yet. Have been out most of the day. Will try later.

Update: Just ran Ojosoft. Took one of my smaller videos and converted from .wmv to .avi. The trial version does only 20% of the file. That took 1min 20sec.

Then I reconverted the output of Ojosoft with my favorite converter ( Format Factory ). That took 37 sec. So as far as speed is concerned, FF beat OJ by quite a bit.

Nice surroundings there.
I'm more of a downtown guy (4th district, close to the Naschmarkt) but I know the 14th district very well since I am a road cyclist and the western parts of Vienna with those soft hills are my favorite training grounds except for Vienna- Bratislava - Vienna, which is pretty time consuming though.
TBH, I was planning a tour across the Schwarzwald as well!

Guess what I'm currently downloading! ;)
I'm currently working night shift, will try them tomorrow and see which one's faster.

Would be interesting to see your figures. I will make some more comparison tests tomorrow - and with bigger files.

I will do so too.
BTW, usually I convert MP4 => WMV for personal reasons.

Just made some more measurements with different filetypes. I always converted with OJ from the original filetype to another one and then with FF back to the original. Because of the 20% restriction that was the most feasable way. Those are the times:

1. WMV > MP4 > WMV: OJ=200sec - FF=12sec (no idea why it took OJ that long. Did it twice)
2. FLV > WMV > FLV: OJ=32sec - FF=25sec
3. MP4 > MOV > MP4: OJ=24sec - FF=11sec

And the winner is Format Factory. Agree? Besides, FF has a lot of other nifty functions - e.g. Cropping. Look in the Options and Output Settings.

I still have three more hours to work. I'm really keen on testing it.

Ran a few tests.
Both programs were equally quick, FF usually being slightly ahead of Ojo - but we're talking about the range of 10 seconds after conversions that took about 3-4 minutes.

But! The output of Ojo was less blocky so I'll continue using Ojo.

Nonetheless, if I had known FF before I purchased Ojo, I wouldn't have any need for Ojo as FF is really a great free program.
