FreeFileSync - Can the Comparison & Syncing be done recursively?

Situation:

Left window = Camera SD card (with photos & videos all in one folder)
Right window = Photos & Videos folder in an HD partition (with many subfolders/sub-subfolders)

If I could tell FFS to ignore the folders on the Right window, just compare & sync checking ALL the files found in the root folder (regardless of the subfolders), and copy only the new ones (update) to the root folder for me to arrange into subfolders that would be great.

Does this have anything to do with Symbolic links?

Thanks in advance,

DPC

Hi drpeppercan and welcome to Seven Forums.

I think what you need to do is set the sync options to update.

Do test this out first as a mistake could loose you your data.

If that doesn't do it the the "Custom" setting gives you complete control.
