Geeky way to open certain locations from Keyboard in Windows 7​

I dont know whether anyone knows this, I "discovered" it few days ago accidentally. Very short tutorial, just a geeky way to open, nothing more than that! Obviously you can easily open using your mouse as you do!

1. Press [windows key] and [R] in keyboard. type "." (single dot without quotation marks)

Like this:

2. Hit enter (or click ok).

User named folder will open. So, no clicks at all.

Now, the second one...

1. Press [windows key] and [R] in keyboard. type ".." (double dots without quotation marks)

Like this:

2. Hit enter (or click ok). This will open:

Thats it!

A nice discovery. I, for one, was not aware of this, but then again I very rarely, if ever, use the Run command.

You can also type '..' (move up one directory level) in the address bar of explorer. ../.. (and longer combinations) works as well. Just like you'd do in a unix shell or the command prompt. Not as good as the Up button that used to be there, but better than clicking through directory buttons when trying to navigate to a parent directory when you're dealing with very long path names.
