Geforce 6600 is not detected Windows 7 x64

Well, I have installed and re-installed the drivers many times. The Nvida control panel shows only one monitor detected. I have two identical Acer monitors, both display when plugged into my integrated graphics card (Which is 8100) and is detected and running correctly.

Any idea what the cause could be? It seems that 7 does not even think I have the graphics card installed. I came from XP, so the hardware is installed correctly and is compatible with at least my other hardware. Also, I previously had used x86 when RC1 came out and it had detected it automatically, so I was a little surprised to find this problem now.

Any questions I have left out? I'll tell you now I have checked the device manager, it shows only one monitor. I have tested both monitors. I have installed the 64 bit Windows 7 drivers from the nvidia website, and re-booted. The fan on the Graphics card is spinning, so it has power. Short of an issue with the operating system, I don't know what to do next. Also if it means anything this is a Legit, most recent download of Windows 7. Also, I have tried the driver versions before the most recent as well.

Since you left XP, did you ENABLE onboard video then (after?) Many motherboards do not support integrated running at the same time as an add on card.

If your answer is yes, that is your problem. If your answer is no, then I don't know why all of a sudden they both can't work for you at the same time when they previously have on XP.

Short answer: The 8100 is more powerful than the 6600. Remove the 6600 from the system completely and use the only onboard 8100 to drive the monitors and you're set.

If for some reason you still want both 6600 and 8100 to work at the same time AND your system is capable, you probably just have to install the driver for the 6600 manually by using the device manager.

Well I have XP on one hard drive, and 7 on another. When I boot into my XP, it sees both monitors. When I go into 7, it only sees one. No BIOS Changes have been made.

The 8100 is integrated, and the 6600 is a PCI-e card. That is so I can use two monitors. I'll try another approach I suppose. I'll let you know if i figure it out.
