Nvidia Graphics Card not recognized
Hi - this is my first time writing on this forums.
I've been spending hours and hours going through relative threads and so on.
However, I still don't have a clue - or may be it is just a dead end.

Here is the situation:
My girlfriend decided to upgrade her Chinese laptop "HASEE A460-i3 D2."
I've never seen this laptop or this company before, but I figured it would be easy to install SSD and 8GB RAM. Hardware installation was breeze, and the I installed Windows 7 64bit Ultimate Edition.
However, the problem came from installing graphic card driver.
I realized that the graphic card was not being recognized.

Based on the label on the laptop, it was suppsoe to have "nVidia GT325M."
So I tried downloading the driver from this nVidia website and got this:
This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.

So I tried using Nvidia Auto detect program and got this:
The manufacturer of this system requires that you download the driver for your GPU from their support site.
The GeForce M series and GeForce Go series notebook GPUs use drivers that have been customized by the notebook manufacturers to support hot key functions, power management functions, lid close and suspend/resume behavior. NVIDIA has worked with some notebook manufacturers to provide notebook-specific driver updates, however, most notebook driver updates must come from the notebook manufacturer. Additionally, the desktop GeForce graphics drivers will not install on Geforce M series and Quadro M series notebook GPU's.

So I went to this laptop company's website... using google translate and stuff. And I realized the driver on website is for only 32-bit version. And I do not see any 64-bit driver. I am stuck with Standard VGA Graphics Adapter, with Windows rating of 1.0. CPU-Z does not recognize the graphic card either (just says Standard VGA Graphics Adapter) and GPU-Z says GPU of GT216..

So do you think if there is anyway to tweak or do something to get this graphic card working? If not - does it mean I have to downgrade to 32bit?

Please help me  show me what this forum is capable of!!!

Thank you!!

Well it would seem you've been looking in the appropriate places.
Is the device actually a GT216?
If it is that's actually bad driver wise. Nvidia has drivers that support all models but that one for some reason. 220-280 are supported but 216 apparently isn't.
Suppose you could try the 210m driver, don't know how much luck you'll have with that though. Might at least recognize it as a Nvidia gpu.

hmm.. well the spec from website and the label on the laptop itself says "GT325M" ... but may be without the driver, GPU-Z is recognizing as GT216. Not sure if it helps, but windows rating has 1.0 on graphics lol just tried installing 210m driver.. but dead end with "this graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware."

Well both are real models, so I don't know
The 325m they do have a win 7 x64 driver for.

yeah.. i will try to install them.
but is there anyway to install 32bit driver on 64bit windows?
or even install the original driver from nvidia website? not via manufacture?

The drivers nvidia has for that gpu should work.
All the messages are saying is they can't account for whatever changes the manufacturer of your laptop may have made for certain.

The 32 bit driver will cause more problems than it solves.

That one driver I linked covers all the gpu's I quoted.
the 216 isn't among them, but the 325 is.
It depends on which source was right.

This is where the GT216 is coming from,

NVIDIA GeForce GT 325M - Notebookcheck.net Tech

The performance of the GT 325M should be similar to the GeForce GT 230M and therefore located in the middle class. The card should support DirectX 10.1 and all the features of the GT 230M (as it is based on the same GT216 core). Therefore, PureVideo HD (with VP4?) and CUDA support should be in the chip.
And no you can not install the 32 bit driver for it, either the installer or Windows itself won't allow it. If the one that Maguscreed doesn't work, go here,

Drivers | drivers for mobile cards and laptops | laptopvideo2go.com

and see if one of the modded ones (only the INF has been changed with extra DveID's).
