Hi guys

I have a problem with my connection to internet, this what happened:

Like a week ago i was attacked by "win 7 antimalware 2010" malware, and i manually removed following this steps
http://www.spywarevoid.com/remove-win-7-an...10-removal.html
when i finished i had a problem with all my programs (sorry didnt save the error code), which I solved creating a new administrator account. The only problem is that my internet conection is down for all (skype, IE 8, firefox, utorrent, etc) except 1 program: KTrader Version 4.00 Build 225 .

i already tried to reinstall windows 7 but it appers an error saying that i have to restart my computer to do the reinstall

Plz i really need help with this I dont know what to do

Hi, two things to try to start off with:

Make sure your LAN/WLAN drivers are up to date (this is almost certainly not the problem but worth doing anyway)

Do a system restore to before your PC was infected.

Post back with any developments.

Maybe not everything is removed!
Run Malwarebytes (free download) in Safe Mode!
Hijjackthis can also be of some help.

Don't format your hard disk yet.

Try opening an elevated command prompt (Search in the Start Menu for CMD, Right click on the first result and click open as administrator)

Type 'netsh winsock reset' without the quotes into command prompt and press enter.

Restart your PC.

Hopefully this will do the trick.

reinstall is different from repair install ...as you have mentioned earlier ...

hello.........you should go for....http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

detailed instructions are provided in the tutorial go through them ...its your best bet if you want to avoid format and reinstall.

myfirewall is off
ummm...have you disabled it?

before repair install go to safe mode with networking and check for net connectivity plus scan with mbam in safe mode once.
how to go to safe mode:
1.To begin entering Windows 7 Safe Mode, turn on or restart your PC.
Just before the Windows 7 splash screen press the F8 key to enter Advanced Boot Options.
2.choose...Safe Mode with Networking and press Enter

i tried to do the reinstall but I cant maibe the versions r not the same (its not the same DVD)
that might explain the error on repair install...

i tried to format
remember if you install a different version you need a separate/new key for getting it activated

but i changed the boot priority in BIOS and windows starts anyway.

that is because the first boot option might be set as hdd...to change
start/restart pc....press Del or F2 key(press repeatedly) to enter bios setting..go to boot order/option setting....change the boot order to dvd drive..save and exit
for detailed instruction see here..Boot Order - How to Change the Boot Order in BIOS - BIOS Boot Order

I hate knowing nothing about PCs...
same here:p
