sorry i took so long, i kinda forgot about this. we think it may be his NB chip getting way to hot. now that it has been getting colder up here, he has been leaving th window open in his room. he said he hasnt had a blue screen since he came over to my house last. we will just have to see what happens in the summer when it starts to get hot again. thanks for all your help it was really good to be here. im going to start looking here now because of it
