i have a sony vaio Y series notebook. AMD DUAL CORE E-350 processor. it uses AMD radeon graphics. 2GB RAM. it was re formatted earlier. before re format, the resolution was 1366 x 768 . but now the maximum resolution i could set is only up tp 1024 x 768. what happened?
can i still get have my resolution before? in the device manager, it displayed the generic PnP monitor on standard VGA graphics adapter. please help? please? i actually tried to "upgrade it", but i dont have that option in my control panel, but i have "add device" so i clicked it, but the BSOD appeared. and my notebook re booted. it happened just now. pleeeease help me.
1) a.can i still get my resolution back?

2) a.why did it displayed BSOD? is it because i cliked on the add device?
