Hi,
I've just installed Windows 8 on a laptop, and the Windows 10 icon showed up, as it does. Usually, when that happens and I don't want to upgrade to Windows 10, I simply uninstall KB3035583. And it works, although I need to hide it from updates so that it doesn't bug me.
The problem now is that I've already uninstalled this update and the icon still shows up. Actually, the installer asked me right after it finished if I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10, and that led me to believe that there's something else in the system that triggers the notification.
Any ideas how to get rid of it?
