getdpiforwindow when trying to install an app not meant for W7

Hi all

I am trying to install a d/l mgr for a sw app that is not meant for W7. I am getting the following error: (below)

Wondering if anyone knows of a workaround. Tried searching, but couldn't come up with anything of value.

If you google that you'd see that it's from a library built into 10 which means that we can't use it. I suggest that you look for an older version compatible with 7 or an alternative. Use continuing to use 7 means that this can happen.
