Getting message window Internet Explorer not Responding

Just purchased a refurbished Dell 745. It has Windows 7. Keep getting a message window. Internet Explorer is not working. Can someone help?

for starters please run the following, copy/paste the output

(log is in C: >> windows >> logs >> SURT..
sfc /scannow (note the space)

please confirm the error is Internet Explorer or Explorer.exe they are very different.
