Getting Windows 8 on a computer that has Windows 7

As stated in the topic, I have a computer with Windows 7, but now with Windows 8 out (and possibly better than 7 unless otherwise) is it possible to uninstall 7 and install 8, or is it a no or does it depend on the computer itself?

Hello Nate,

Usually a PC that can run Windows 7 can also run Windows 8.

You could either upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 8, or clean install your upgrade copy of Windows 8.

Upgrade Install from Windows 7 or Vista to Windows 8

OR

Clean Install with Windows 8 Upgrade
