I guess that the PC isn't the one in your system specs.
There don't seem to be special versions of the nVidia drivers for AGP cards. The newest drivers for the card at the Gigabyte site are quite old (2009), but you should be able to use the latest ones from
www.nvidia.com . The Geforce 6 series is still fully supported.
Does your motherboard require special AGP drivers? I think that some do, in particular boards with Via chipsets.
If you can supply the model number of the board, you may receive better help.

Actually they all do, regardless of chipset. With Windows 7 it all depends on how well the chipset is supported by the default/generic Windows AGP driver and how well the video card driver will work with said AGP driver. In some cases the chipset won't work with the native drive (Nvidia Nforce 3 is a very good example) and can sometimes be overcome by using the last XP (or if really lucky Vista) chipset driver, which will then allow the video card driver to install and function properly.

The good old Nforce 3 chipset I mentioned above. The biggest problem with it is that Nvidia dropped all support for it before even Vista came out and as a result it rarely works properly in Windows 7, especially when it is an AGP based board. The PCI-E based boards don't have the same problems, as they don't have to contend with the lack of a proper AGP driver.
Now with that said you can try using the last XP chipset driver from here (32 bit),
nForce3 - Windows XP/2000
It may take using
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html to get it to install. If it does, then try the video card driver again.

I had a GA-K8NS Socket 754 motherboard and I used the standard AGP windows 7 driver for my 6800GT graphics card. Worked fine.

My GA-K8NS did have on-board VGA. There must have been a few different models of the same board.
