Gigabyte onboard Realtek causing BSOD?

Current specs are:
Gigabyte EP45-UD3L
Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz
Corsair 650w
WD Velociraptor 300gb (+ 2 other storage drives)
Radeon HD5850
4gb G-Skill
Win 7 64-bit

I can not get my audio to properly work! Windows start up and shut down sounds work just fine. As soon as I try to play music in Itunes or start a game the computer gets BSOD. If I disable the sound game starts don't crash. My basis for tests were WoW:Lich King installer when the screen pops up with music playing and the button to click install would crash. Disabling realtek in Device Manager worked fine and I could click install.

Those are my current PC specs which are what I currently have after replacing parts trying to figure out what's wrong. I've reformatted, tried different hard drive for my OS, different graphics, new bigger PSU, diff ram, bought a new motherboard (previous was also Gigabyte with same issues, new mobo is different model). On my last recent Windows 7 install I used driver sweeper and reinstalled the realtek drivers stickied in this forum. I've of course tried the drivers on gigabytes site as well. I also have a Sound Blaster audigy card I tried buying previously but I believe there were issues with that as well. I haven't tested that yet with the creative drivers in this forum but regardless would like to have my onboard working if possible.

Please, any suggestions or ideas what I should do or try? If you need any further information let me know! Tonight I will disable the realtek in bios and install the audigy and see if the same problems persist or what if any issues arrive. I recall it having a similar issue so maybe the onboard audio isn't the issue.

Thanks!

Okay I've added to here and will create in the Crashes and Debugging. My apologies as I only found this specific sub-forum searching for related audio issues and didn't view the other sub-forums.

Not a problem .. ;)

All three of your .dmp files show a stop error of 0x124 hardware... These are not specific as to what piece of hardware actually caused the crash, but you can have a look here for some suggestions ....

[2-Int] Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try

You may want to consider a third party sound card....

Out of curiosity... do you have any other cards in the machine besides the graphics card?

Did you have the same graphics card in the previous PC?

Definitely update the motherboard BIOS if one is available, also the chipset drivers.

These crashes were caused by several things but they all point to hardware. Please use these instructions to find out what that means and to figure out what to try.

If you are overclocking you should stop. If you are running a RAID, you should update its driver.

Thanks

Okay I'm out of ideas. Is it possible the CPU is the issue?

I've replaced every piece of hardware but the CPU. As I said this issue has been happening for a while with different configurations and pretty much the reason I stopped playing games. The CPU has been overclocked before but even stock on 2 mobo's it is doing this. I disconnected everything from the mobo but the cpu fan, PSU, 1 RAM, 1 hard drive, graphics card and case wiring and it is still happening. Have tried same thing with another hard drive, another RAM stick and even unplugged mouse and keyboard testing without them. Issue has happened on my previous mobo which I tried 3 different graphics cards and 4 sticks of RAM on that setup and still the same issue. I disabled the Realtek in BIOS, installed an Audigy card and still the same issue. I used the Daniel_K drivers. Also installed a Vista 32bit release and same issue occurred. I may try XP as well but I wouldn't really want to settle using XP so I'd rather not even bother.

I'm totally out of ideas. Could it be the CPU? I'm about ready to just buy an i5 as I've replaced everything else! Should I stress test the CPU and video? Which programs would be best? Prime95? And even if this were to pass does that rule CPU out? Also I've had the issue with ati and nvidia cards.

Thanks!
