Paragon Total Defrag 2010 Special Edition

File system starts out with all or most of its files contiguous, and becomes more and more fragmented as a result of the file creation and deletion over the time. Thus files and their parts become spread all over the hard disk, which follows the delays in the hard disk work and further lower performance. Total Defrag 2010 is a new comprehensive product for total file system defragmentation and optimization. Built on original Paragon technologies, it performs complete low-level defragmentation that provides almost zero fragmentation level.

Please notice this application only runs on 32-bit systems.

Paragon Froze my System

I should know better than to trust Paragon, I have had problems with
other Paragon Programs.

This one froze my system while defragmenting at the system level, ie after a reboot.

Had to do a hard reboot. Windows 7 repaired the problem ( impressed ) than
Auslogics Defrag repaired the considerable fragmentation which was left by
Paragon.

I recommend staying away from Paragon altogether.

Sorry to hear that. I've been using different Paragon applications as long as I can remember. Never had a problem.

My recommendation has always been, and still is, to first check if Paragon has the application you need and only then consider something else.

I agree totally with Kari.

Paragon is always my first app. of choice for any kind of Disk Management operation.

Disk Management programs - from whatever 3rd party compnay, are powerful tools - best to know something about what you are doing before you use them ;)
