Good ip hider

This must be the right forum since it is about security , yeah ? Anyway , i am looking for an ip hider that really works , i have tried Safe ip and Hide ip but they are both bogus since when i surf to some site to check if it is really hidden it shows that it is not .I do not want to use a proxy i want a nice program in the computer that gives me the control .Any thoughts .

Both SafeIP and HideIP use a proxy server, as they must. To have any interaction with a website it must have your public IP address or a that of a proxy server or VPN server you are using. Otherwise your computer could have no communication with the site. Hiding your IP address with software alone is impossible.

Thank you for the suggestion but it is to complicated and to slow .I hoped someone had found some unknown ip hider that was good that they could suggest , among the usuall ones i have tried , i think , them all , with disappointing results .I wonder if their paid versions are much better , hmmm.

I have no interest in hiding my IP address. There is next to nothing that anyone can do with it anyway. There are good proxy and VPN servers but I have never found the need to use one.

May I ask what the exact need for an IP hider/Proxy server? They do have bad connotations with them being able to evade certain country specific online restrictions. If you have a business then I would understand.

Please note that proxy servers can greatly slow down your connection speed since all of your traffic has to flow through the proxy and then to its destination. If it is a public proxy this can get worse since anyone on the internet may be using it
