Good Pc Build?

I was thinking and I came up with this. please take look at all of it
Intel i5 2500K
Motherboard
PSU
8gb RAM
Grand total: $264.99
I don't have a lot of money to spend on this. I think its a bargain on the price considering the CPU
The i5 2500K is $70 off at microcenter and I have a store 40 minutes from me
I also have a case and video card I will be using (Only temporarily) and a OS,and 2 HDDs. Will upgrade video card later.. (Please suggest a good gaming card)

^ Don't buy a crap power supply, get a solid power supply no matter what. I read in another thread that you have recovered from 3 recent failures. You never want to provide bad power to your computer, it's a foundatiional building block.

Brands that I like are Corsair, SeaSonic and Antec. Stick to one of those and you will have fewer problems.

Keep searching for a better PSU. I know someone who built the ultimate PC, it costs a pretty penny but it flies, basically upgrade proof for close to, if not 4, maybe 5 years.

Get this psu the one i have works wonders and i run a hd 6870 video card with it no problems at all and i bought it at amazon

I use a Seasonic psu and it is so much quieter than the Bestec that my HP desktop came with. I assume that you want to overclock, if you're going for a 2500k.

I've heard some contradictions of this, but officially the H6x series doesn't support changing the multiplier on the k series CPUs. The multiplier is pretty much the only way to get a significant OC on a Sandy Bridge CPU. You need a P67 or Z68 board. The Z68 has the least limitations. It'll cost you $20 more, at least, than the H61 board that you list.

You may also want an aftermarket CPU cooler, for overclocking.

While you are MicroCenter, pick up the CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ or it's newer revision. It's the best (and one of the cheapest) air coolers available.
