Google Chrome doesn't work anymore ...

I had the same problem with Google Chrome. I would click on the icon, then a permission window would open, I okay'ed that, then the wheel would turn like it was thinking about opening, then, nothing. I tried everything that everyone was suggesting above, but still nothing. THEN, I discovered when you enter "Ctrl, Alt, Del" or task manager, under "processes", if Google Chrome is open, it needs to be "end process". Close out task manager and Google Chrome will now open.
