Google Chrome Icon In Notification Area

i have just noticed google has put a icon in the notification area after updating chrome to 12.0.712.0 dev version anyone else noticed this ?

No such thing with 12.0.719.0 canary build nor with 11.0.696.25 beta

oh well i have worked it out i think its because i use eBay Extension for Google Chrome (by eBay) https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/khhckppjhonfmcpegdjdibmngahahhck when i right click the icon it shows a context menu with
