Hello.
Windows 7 professional 64bit. Explorer 11.
Any suggestions or redirect please.
Google (not Chrome) repeatedly asks for sign in after I sign in to accts then leave.
"Stay signed in" block checked. Third party says happening a lot lately
due to hacking/ virus and wants to sell support. True or can be alleviated
in settings? System restore doesn't affect. Thanks. M.

reset internet settings. my 2015 AVG business dropped recently
so it's probably virus related and only affects that issue. I intend to
get AVG 2017 ultimate installed which may clean things. Third party
contracted thru Google sd 150 to get cleaned. Cost of a new WD1TB.
You guys suggest going over to Chrome?
Thanks very much M.

Hi:

Not sure about your original issue, but if I understand your last reply correctly, it is now solved after clearing browser history/cache/cookies?

FYI, AVG was recently purchased by Avast.
I haven't chased down details and I assume current AVG customers will eventually be migrated/grandfathered to Avast.
But you might want to start looking around for another AV?

Cheers, MM

N problem is far from solved. I also get site error messages when trying to
view you tube or any site w video. Hulu site won't even come up at all.
gmail (Google) asks for log in each time. Explorer11 w Google as
browser opens ok but navigation to any favorite is slower than usual.

Not sure what to say about the AVG or MoxieMomma reference to it
being purchased by Avast. Does that mean AVG is no longer valid for AV?

Any suggestions helpful as I may have no other option than to
go to local Geek Squad... as I don't trust local ads in Craigslist.
