I double checked it and made sure all prongs lines up. I am 99.9 percent sure it's a defective part at this point, sadly.

A few things.
What is the power supply you are using?
Does your power supply have a voltage selection switch on the back. Not the on-off switch.
The yellows wires going to the left top of your motherboard seem way to short. Is their a extension for that cable.
You stated that connector is a 4+4.
What is the total wires in that 4+4 connector.
Do all the holes in the connector have a wire inserted.
I'm still thinking it is the wrong harness or because of the tension on the short harness is not allowing it to make proper connection.

Is it possible to turn the power supply over with the fan on the bottom. Is their venting on the bottom of the case under the power supply to allow this to be done. It would bring the cable outlet on the power supply closer to the motherboard and the cable would not be pulled so tight.

Prongs? I thought you had an Intel chip, it has no pins on it, they are in the socket, very delicate and easy to bend.

Alright to you that responded, thanks. A few hours of frustration has confirmed it. The problem is the MoBo, confirmed by two stores, myself, and friends. Funny enough, a guy in the store with the same exact MoBo has the exact same problem. I'm getting a new MoBo right now, and I'm praying that's my last problem.

Also make sure you use only the mobo stand offs for this mobo. Count them up in each row and dbl. check that you don't have any extras !

Oh, and I upgraded the RAM to 8gb of Kingston HyperX Blue RAM.

I have very good results with Kingston Ram.

Boy, you never really know.

Problem was the USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. As soon as you unplug it, it boots up. So, three PSUs, two motherboards, and a case later, we found the culprit. Time to install OS X, and W7 and see what the next problem will be.

It may not be the mobo header but a bad usb2.0 cable as a build of mine turned out to be years ago, it lead to a multi card reader with an issue (bent pin) most likely.

One nice thing is if you put a USB pendrive in before going into BIOS, you can press F12 and make a screenshot of whatever you are seeing on to the USB stick.
