Graphic Card damaged

Hi all ! i am new to this forum and windows 7. i just installed yesterday windows 7 on my dual core 2 duo processor with 4 GB ram. yesterday all the day it was running fine, but today when i was working on it about after one hour system hang's and i even can not use CTRL+ALT+DEL . so i needed to restart from case button. but when i restarted my graphic card was gone. Graphic card was `ATI 2600 with 512MB Ram. I had guarantee remaining so i return on the shop and they will give me back in few days. I get another PCI express card to use on it, and now i am afraid what if it will hang again and my graphic card will gone. Please help me here is my current specification by Dxdiag:

Hi and welcome to SF

Well I have never seen win 7 fry a vid card but you ae getting a replacement anyway. In the mean time you need to download and install the video driver for the current video card. I know you are running 32 bit and you should be able to find a driver easily. what else are you having a problem with?

Thanks Ken for your early response !! i have 2 things to say:

1. Now when i installed my other card Windows 7 recognize it by itself. do i need any additional drivers to overwrite the current as i will wait for my other card to be replaced and this card is fully installed?

2. And since i change my graphic card, my system hanged for once. i was afraid to shutdown via case button so i wait about one hour and slowly slowly i manage to shutdown. but on the last there was a message about saying for some CTRL+ALT+DEL was not process and something like this sorry i can't remember.

Hi
1-you need to install the driver for the CURRENT video card, then when you get the other card install that video driver. In some cases you have to un-install a driver first.
2-you computer will hang because it has a video driver for a card that isn't in the machine. It should go away when you replace the driver with the correct one.

when I work with Seven My Graphic Card damaged.
I installed new Graphic card but new card also had Crash and windows recovered it(6150SE Onboard).
I think Seven Has a Serious problem in this issue

Its an issue with the video driver, not the card hardware. I bet if you loaded up linux or windows xp the card would still function fine. Its almost impossible for a software issue to physically damage a piece of hardware.

I checked but there is no file in minidump folder of windows seven.

after damage happened for my graphic, in POST Screen my Graphic show vertical white line that make screen unreadable (only POST Screen other screens are clean)
