Safe Mode "Corrective" Reboot's After BSOD?
UPDATE
I was able to save the personal files and the minidump files before performing a "clean" install.
Most of the apps and the Hotfixes in the quoted list below haven't been installed yet.
Here's the DropBox link to the dump files, hopefully it will help guide in prevention measure's...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On my fiance's laptop, I encountered a blue stop screen message (please see the quote at the end of post).
Anyway, I tried Safe Mode as the BSOD suggested and it began what seems like a series of corrective actions and reboots.
The last time I had something like this was on Windows ME (Millenium Edition).
This is the 1st or 2nd on Win7-HP.
What is the laptop doing?
If I allow it to continue, are we going to lose any of our personal files (that aren't yet saved to a different location, of course)?
