You should also blow out your heatsinks and fans with a can of compressed air. I would also maybe suggest replacing your case fans with higher quality fans, or adding fans if their are places available to do so.
Since your using an Nvidia card you can download Evga precision, and this will allow you to control your fan speeds and keep track of your temps.It works with any Nvidia card.
