Hi all,

Since changing to the Beta driver I have had no more BSOD which is great but, I have received several black screens followed by a reboot. These are occurring infrequently at present!

Hi Graham ... Maybe an earlier version make might things more stable ... Still think you should return the Card though

It sounds like a graphics card issue to be honest. If changing driver versions isn't helping then it starts to point to hardware.
If you get any BSODs keep us posted and I'll have a look.

!!!UPDATE!!!

Yesterday I had a Nvidia GTX 780 fitted so will keep you updated to how things go with this card. Many thanks for all the help.

A quick question for you tech bods, I uninstalled the AMD driver before getting my new card installed which my PC tech said that I shouldn't have done? Anyway, for some reason all my USB ports went down??? They are sorted now but I was wondering why this would have happened?

Hi Graham .. Had a look at your Motherboard its controlled by Intel Chipset .. Sorry i have no idea way your usb ports stopped working .. But glad you got it sorted

I've never known that happen so I couldn't say. As for the PC tech person saying you shouldn't uninstall the driver, well that is so wrong. You should always uninstall the graphics driver when replacing the card.

Yes that's what I believed, but he said that could be done after the new card was installed? I thought it would be better before the new card was put in.

I do not see his point Graham there is no reason to keep an old Driver when you do not have Hardware for it ..
