The card is installed already it could be malfunctioned it only shows the intergrated graphics meaning the installed card isnt showing at all

it could be a bad card have you had it a long time ?

nope. It is new card, it evn works on my frnd's comp.

Also your Mobo is Lenovo which really doesnt give details and you are using OEM products

Oem stuff will get you every time

It is the mobo holding you back then not the card

well oem software is for that specific hardware only plus ,I would think the best thing to do is start replacing things mainly the MOBO....that is why you can't get it going


I would go to a PC shop not a mom and pop but someone with decent prices and have a legit title with working with this equipment

From here with out my hands on anything it is really hard to determan if that is the main cause bbut i would take it and get a second opinion hands on even beter

hi

My problem is that , when i insert the graphics card in the PciE slot and connect the monitor cable to the graphics card and turn on the cpu, I dont GEt a Display!

I have updated my bios, i have even tried Disabling the Display adapters in Device manager.

Hi,

Are you migrating from On-Board to External graphics? Is then you may need to do the following...

1. Plug the VGA cable into the On-Board port
2. Access the BIOS (press DEL, F1, F10 or F12 when 1st boot screen appears)
3. (normally) Under Advanced settings find details of GFX
4. Change from Internal to External (PCI-E)

Now plug the cable into the new card and hopefully you should have your image back.
