Graphics driver nvidia geforce go 6100 win7

I just installed Win7 x86 on my Gateway MT3423 laptop.

I did not realize that the graphics driver was not compatible with Win7.
Does anyone know of a way to get an alternate driver that works with this configuration?

Hi thelittlelim, Welcome to the forums, download the driver from here Gateway Support - Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook / MT Series / MT3420 then install it in compatibility mode for vista http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html

Iv used this many times and 9/10 it get the correct drivers installed not matter what the system
P.s you may need to install Utorrent to download it but be assured there is nothing illegal happening here

I'll give it a shot. I noticed there are many files in there, I looked through them and I'm not sure which one to download for my system.

sorry for a late reply, im assuming you mean the torrent is several files?!?
Just download the whole torrent, when completed it should be structured into one folder, you will then just need to run the .exe
a new window will open
after checking the correct settings are selected i.e OS ect DRPS should then scan your pc to see what drivers are missing or need updating
you will then need to select all and run... its really that simple
provided the pack has the correct drivers you should be done, if not then you can use the icons to the right of the driver descriptions to force Windows update to find them or link off to a manual drivers archive site
