Hello everyone.

Lately I'm having trouble with my computer. It runs on Win7 ultimate32 bit. After 2 hours or so it suddenly shows me a green screen. So I push the reboot button, but then it freezes most of the time at the startup. Most of the time I don't even get to the part where it asks me if I want to use safe mode etc. It either keeps rebooting on it's own, freezes or it just doesn't show me anything at all. Ussually you hear your computer thinking when it turns on, but now I don't hear anything if these problems arise. If I leave the computer alone for a day or so, I can turn on the computer again for another 2 hours before the problems arise again.

So I'm wondering if this a hardware issue and which one. I guess it would be a busted motherboard, but I wanted to hear your opinion first.

Some information about computer:

- Intel quad core 6600
- Asus EAH5770 videocard
- Gigabyte S-series p43-es3g
- 2 gb ram king-something
- 2 hard drives one pretty old by now(5 years) the other bigger one (2 years)

No there is no text on the green screen. But yesterday when it refused to start again I did get a BSOD for like three seconds. Then it rebooted again. I shall try the things is the BSOD topic and see if it works.

Sorry for the late reply. Computer wouldn't be functional long enough for me to do as told in BOSD thread.

Edit:

My computer used to run on windows xp then I switched to Windows 7. The motherboard, videocard and processor are not a year old. The rest is about 5 years old
