GTA San Andreas not working, patched, unpatched, clean

i am running GTA-SA 2.0, which worked, then i downgraded to 1.0 and used the multiplayer patch, all are working perfectly fine, under "windows 7 build 7100 32bit" so yeah. no crashes at all with this game on my PC. just thought i would add that i am now also using a no-cd crack and it's still working fine, latest direct x and latest nvidia drivers as well.

GTA san andreas doesn't seem to be working. v1.00, on win7 ultimate x86, with latest nvidia driver release as of now. the game installs fine, but once it gets past the intital video intro, the game will crash. tried turning UAC off, compat mode, run as admin, et cetera. quite irritating considering it seems as if it worked with earlier versions of win7.

it might just be the san andreas copy that u have...try downloading from somplace else
