Hello,

@angeloelibz24: The problem is not with the Mouse drivers. It's an Windows Problem because the game was made for Windows ME and XP not for Vista or Win 7.

@Cristianob: When you play with Compability Modus for Win 98 the savegames and User Tracks are stored in C:\Users\Public\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files. I play it with compability modus on vista too and I had that same problem.

hey im a noob here!! my first post! lol, and i have a problem, when i WANT to play gta SA, i dont have any sound, like what so ever, i also can not use my xbox 360 controller , does anybody knows how to fixx this?? the game runs flawless on my laptop in fullscreen and in the highest settings

I tried playing san andreas on windows 7 x64 and sumtimes the game doesn't load when I enter a new location, such as entering or exiting my house.

I have just installed sami to windows 7 professinal and its saying i need microsoft.NET Framework 1.1 i downloaded it but it keeps showing the box saying i have to download .NET franmework why is it doing it?

Hey people pls help me im very unhappy with Win 7 because when i start the game it starts perfectly and i can play it literally but after 5 - 10 mins the game stops and i have to restart my pc how can i overcome the problem ???? i have tried

Running the program in comp mode XP and vista all SPs
Run as Admin
disable all visual themes
Please help ....guys i really wanna play this game.......

Have you tried 98/me mode? Yeah sounds stupid I know.....
Filling out your system spec's would help also.....

Yeah it is running smooth on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. As far as I know it should also run on Win 7 Home edition 64 bit:sarc:. What type of error you get?? And please provide your system specification so as we can figure out the problem correctly.

well it obviously ain't gonna work in XP compatibility mode,
try lowering all graphics to its lowest, with should cause less lag, with should stop game from freezing, sorry, only thing i can come up with

Well I also tried to Install it in my win7 OS. but it failed:Inpage operation failed.
well i also has winxp so i installed it in windows xp and i opened gta_sa.exe in windows7. it worked and i also made user file saving folder in windows7 my documents.

I am desperate. It was working fine until yesterday and i have progressed a lot. Now i just cant drop it. Also i tried to reinstall but the problem persists..

Try running in win 98 compabitly mode.fixed my crashing in win 7 64bit

did you ever change the exe like downgrade or upgrade it? If you did that the old save file with the old exe wont work with the new exe so you will need to start a new game
