Guitar Hero III for 7

Hi yall

has anyone installed and played GH3 successfully for windows 7? I heard there were issues for it, but my copy hasnt came thru the snail mail yet so I kinda wanna get a feel for what I'll be dealing with once I get the game.

it comes with a geetar...I think its the same one thats used for xbox...but then again I wouldnt know cus mine hasnt came thru yet

Frets on Fire is basically the same thing as GH but free and you can put your own songs in to it.

sure they do...and its going for fairly cheap here at Amazon.com: Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock: PC: Video Games . Note how it says xp/vista so Im hoping it wont give me any problems on install because Im having this thing shipped to me half way across the world, and I'll be damn pissed if it was a dud!

actually there is a mod of Frets on Fire called Fofix, that has GH and RB mods complete with songs, and like taylorig says u can even put ur own songs in there. I use it with my Wii guitar and it is a blast!

so i guess no one has installed this game for pc?!?..well i finally got my copy today and cant wait to try it out!!..will let everyone know how it goes...

Got the game...installed was a breeze and everything seems to work just fine no lag no nothing....one thing i noticed tho is that the sound output is very very lowwwwwwwwww....even after i maxed out the volume on the comp and also the volume of my external speakers...hmmm wonder what i can do to fix this...
