I am not sure what is going on with my computer. I have a Sony VAIO that is only 14 months old. The OS is Window 7, I have a new copy of Norton 360 installed, and I access the web wireless. That is the set up in a nut shell. Last week after retuning from vacation I restarted the computer and it went straight to system repair which it could not repair due to a missing file. I called Sony and after $130 I had to preform a system recovery and set it back to factory settings. I finally got everything working again and today I was trying to download the latest AVG (Norton was running) and I had Facebook open in the back gound the computer blue screened. When it came back on it went back to system repair and again could not repair. I am now completing the second system recovery this week.

I have a second computer that never has anything wrong with it, a Gateway from 2006 that has Windows XP Norton 360 but it uses a LAN cable for the internet.

Does anyone know why my newer computer has been having so many problems, is it the OS, the anti-virus, or something else?
