Okay I have done a little research and every thing I have found says that each memory slot only has the capability of 2 gig of ram each. Which means 4 sticks of ram at 2 gigs to get to the max of 8 gigs. I have no idea why that is. Finding information on this motherboard is like finding hens teeth. What I would try is 2 sticks or your 4 gig memory modules in the black slots and then check Resource Monitor and then if things don't look proper try them in the blue slots and check Resource Monitor. A manual would sure be handy.

I'm sorry I am running 4 sticks or 2GB ram, they were backwards I swapped the ones I pulled out and now I got my 8 GB thanks for helping! :)

What is up. Your post #8.
Okay I'll do that in a sec, I have two sicks of RAM and both 4GB
Then in your picture post #9 you show 4 slots filled in the picture single channel. I have no idea with all 4 slots filled you can be in Single channel if the correct ram is being used. Then you say your ram was in backwards. You swapped them around and things are okay. I don't know what in (backwards) means. I'm glad your fixed but it would be nice to know just what steps you did to explain this so I and others can learn what happened. You now have 4 sticks of ram 2 gigs @ for a total of 8 gigs as per your motherboard specs and that's great.

Thank you Blue Robot.
