Solved Hard drive suddenly full

Hi,

My hard drive is really full. I have only got less than 3 GB space. I have tried deleting all the unwanted programs, files. It still stays full.

Please help.

Also check the shadowstorage. The command in an elevated command prompt is:

vssadmin list shadowstorage

This showed that Crashplan was using over 300 GB for backup archives. After uninstalling the software and removing the archives, I have got lots of space free now.

This showed:
Used Shadow Copy Storage space 4%.
Allocated Shadow Copy Storage space 4%.
Maximum Shadow Copy Space 5%

But after deleting my backup archives, the values changed:
Used Shadow Copy Storage space 1%.
Allocated Shadow Copy Storage space 1%.
Maximum Shadow Copy Space 5%
