Hi shadyblues, the reason for this is because the hard drive is full/nearly full and the data LA Noire is trying to write will flood the hard drive.

You may be able to use CCleaner's Cleaning Function or Disk Cleanup to recover some hard drive space.

Or you could backup your data to a USB or another hard drive.

Have you considered that D: may be your factory restore partition ? ?
Why aren't you installing to C: ? ?

After running Disk Cleanup (esp: empty Recycle Bin) then run Disk Defragmenter. Then see if you can copy large test files.

The D drive is too big for a factory restore partition - they are normally less than 20GB.

By today's standards, the two drives are on the small side so you might want to consider backing up what's on your D drive then delete it and extend the C drive to give one drive around 150GB in size.
