Solved Has anyone ever used this DVD burning software ?

I want to know if anyone has used this to Rip actual DVD's Because I don't download anymore from FTP sites anymore and wish to make more quality movies without Messing up one of my drives from sites that Offer the latest

Anyway I used to use DVD X-copy by 123 Studios would this be in fact the same under a new name ?

Anyway if this one isn't any good can you recommend a good Real DVD copier Software

That's probably because ripping DVDs is at the least marginally illegal and therefore against forum rules.

Only Illegal if i am taking new movies and trying to sell them there is a difference there

In some countries it is illegal to circumvent DRM. I think the UK is proposing to make that legal here for just the situation you describe. Is it not covered by the Digital Millennium act in the US.Digital Millennium Copyright Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I gotcha why is it even available for sale then and I've used it many times over the years but only for movies i already had via DVD X -copy

Was Inquireing if this would be the same Because you know DVD's don't last very long especialy Disney movies my daughter plays 24/7

I make backup copies of anything we let me nephews watch...just so it goes right into the movie, and my originals don't get destroyed. DVDfab HD Decrypter is your best bet, and it's free, and updated often.

DVD Shrink is also free, and hasn't been updated in a while, but still works just fine as the second step. Or, if I'm converting a movie to watch from one of my various devices, I'll run it through Handbrake after step #1 (DVDfab HD Decrypter).

I did use Handbrake a time or two on my other Rig good point !

dvddecrypter/shrink/imageburn for yrs till it got left behind . DVDFab replaced that combo no looking back .
