Your driver Page - WinTV-PVR-150 Support page
If you unzip this package you will probably find in different folders xp and vista drivers - if they wont install because of an os match do the foloowing :

To install a driver OR program in compatibility mode - right click the setup.exe file - click properties - click compatibility - check run in compatibility with vista/xp etc - check run as administrator - leave the rest blank. Start setup.exe and install.

If you cant get the package to unzip the drivers - to install (try if it wont install normally), installing in vista compatibility firstly, than xp - if there are no 64bit drivers it doesnt matter, so long as the 32 bit drivers are cerified they will install on your 64bit

My apologies here I have recently found out that 32 bit drivers wont install on a 64bit OS :(

The most important info on the support page:

Note: In 64-bit versions of Windows the WinTV-PVR-150 and WinTV-PVR-500 require the use of less than 4GB of memory.

Don't waste your time if you have more than 3GB of ram. It will not work. You will either have to reduce ram or get another TV card. There is no fix available from Hauppauge.

you need Hauppvr23053 from Hauppauge. Should install in the C:\cabs

Then use the update driver from the malfuctioning icon in Other devices of the device manager(yellow error marked).
Select browse your computer option
Select Let me see manufacturers
Select Have disk
Navigate to C:\cabs\Hauppvr23053\
select HCWPP2.inf
-----
Ignore warning from Win7
----
Works!!

Unfortunately, that Hauppvr23053 doesn't work in x64 windows 7, it just jumps straight back out after saying that it is not suitable for 64 bit versions :(

I managed to get a driver from Hauppage support site WinTV-PVR-150 Support page, unfortunately, it doesn't work all the time. Most of the time (after the machine has been shutdown for a while), it will work and all is well, but if the machine is restarted at any time, I get the dreaded device error 10 on startup, then I have to spend the next 20 minutes restarting and cold booting the machine before it will work again :(

Hauppage were next to useless when I sent them an email, it basically in so many words blamed Microsoft and said to get a newer card!

Guess what, that's exactly what I will do, but one thing for sure, it won't be a hauppage!
