having issue deploying apps using terminal server to cilent desktop

when i try deploy the apps from server. i logon to client pc i have given all the rights but the apps doesn't appear on cilent pc desktop and all programs. instead i have to go to network>serverpc>the share folder and double click in order for it to appear. any solution please advise. thanks

junqi89, The main reason that the apps don't show up is that when you log on via rdp, the apps are not on the desktop for that userid. You can put apps on any authorized users desktop from the terminal server administrator login. each user has their own desktop and you have to gain access to that users desktop and paste the app onto their desktop. Piece of cake, I do it all the time.

I have dos 6.22, wfwg 3.11, win98, 2000 and xp VHD's available for testing. MS's Virtual PC works great.

Forgot to ask, what version of windows server are you running on the terminal server?

for 2008, just navigate to the users directory and select the user, say yes when asked to allow it. then go to their desktop folder and paste the app there.
Should work fine.

i using windows 2008 i navigate to my domain loca.domain and user i add the user inside the member but still doesn't show. please advise me. thanks. As in when i create a installer package and choose start menu and show on desktop it doesn't show.

junqi89, navigate on the C drive to the users directory and you will then be able to get to each ts users desktop.
place the app on that desktop and the next time they log in it will show up.
