On several occasions, I have successfully followed the instructions provided here:
How to copy an entire folder structure without copying the files (tip for starting the new financial year) | Cameron Dwyer | Office 365, SharePoint, Outlook, OnePlace Solutions
In fact, I did the exact same command yesterday and the only thing I changed tonight was one drive letter.
When I first discovered the article, I copied the command straight off the web-page and pasted it in Notepad; then, on the same notepad page, I made a duplicate paste of the command.
I edit this second copy to suit my needs; then, copy/paste it into the Command Line.
It has always worked up until tonight; now, I get an error "invalid number of parameters"
I have checked and double-checked and I cannot see anywhere I could have erred from the path, so to speak.
In fact, as I already said, for tonight's attempt, I only changed a single drive letter.
My navigation paths are both a lot shorter than the examples in the article.
It worked yesterday, it just will not work tonight.
My command looks perfect in the Command Line; what could I possibly be doing wrong ?
Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.
>>>Edit:>>> I kept messing with it; did a bit of wasted Google-searching; and, I honestly don't know what I did, as I entered the path exactly as I had been and it just decided to work.
According to what I found in my search, that error is very common and nobody really seems to have a solution.
