What patch + driverset are you using? 1.0.6.0 and Cat x?
I noticed that ever since 1.0.6.0, it introduced some weird pause/smooth/pause/smooth issues.

. I booted into xp and it seemed to run better on that but the ram usage was at 1.9GB at one point. Very memory hungry game. I have just ordered another 2GB of Geil black dragon ram. So hopefully once i get that and upgrade to a x64 os it will rectify the problem.
