Hello I have just built a system and bought a new monitor which has inbuilt speakers and hdmi connection.

Monitor is LG 24MP68VQ and I installed it's drivers too. I used HDMI cable (it came with monitor) and the display works greatly.

I am currently using onboard graphics (Intel HD 630). Cpu is i5-7500 and MB is MSI B250M Bazooka. Windows 7 version is Professional 64 bit. I installed every driver on motherboards web page (including Realtek Audio drivers). While installing Intel graphics it also showed Intel Audio drivers. I guess it's because I use HDMI cable. On playback devices page there are:

Speakers - High Definiton Audio Device (I guess it's Realtek)

LG IPS FULLHD - Intel Display Audio and this one is set as default.

While I can't set the first one as default as the option is greyed. And lastly, when I plug headphone onto monitor sound comes from the headphone. I really have no idea what's going on. And I searched nearly everyting on the internet.

If you are using HDMI then "HDMI" needs to be set as default audio playback device. With HDMI audio, its generated by the Video device and in this (apparent) case its the Intel CPU/Video Audio. The PC sound card (Realtek) is not used.

To me, it sounds like you have the right connection chosen, because you are getting sound from the monitor, although it`s the headphone jack. Does the monitor itself have a speaker volume level ?
