Head phone is not detected

I have Desktop which have not recognize the head phone. It working as only inbuilt sound..
when i go to control panel - sound - manage sound devices there is only speaker option.. What should i do for listing by head phone

Do you have the correct sound driver installed? and in this case the HP supplied driver for your specific model PC.

If you only have the generic Windows installed "HD Audio Codec" instead of the HP sound driver that could be the problem.
