Hi everyone,
Some seven years ago I decided to buy an input pen called C-Pen 20, which pretty much works like a OCR scan, but that is a pen. It actually worked pretty well.
However, it costed me some $150 back then, and I need to use it now. The problem is, the manufacturer doesn't support this particular pen in x64 versions of Windows. Anyway, I found out that it can work via a workaround: I install the software that came with the pen (running in compatibility mode) and install it. Then, I open Windows XP Mode, connect the pen to it and, when switching back to Windows 7, it just works.

So, I assume the problem is when I connect the drive. When I connect the drive the computer recognises it as a standard "Input Pen", and not as "C-Pen 20" as it does after I turn on the pen to the virtual drive. The problem is, pretty much, the fact that the pen isn't recognized properly.

Is there any solution for this?

Best regards,
Pedro.

Does the Pen work as you expect it to?. If it does, then is the only problem seems to be that it is not recognized as a C-Pen 20, is that what you are asking about?.
If it works OK then I would not worry about what it is recognized as.

Yeah, it works pretty ok.
And, by looking at the installation files, there are two drives (one which connects the Input pen and then the other that makes C-Pen work). The thing is the first one is supposed to get on and off immediately afterwards. What happens is that Input pen gets undefinitely on, so the second drive never kicks in unless a workaround (in this case the XP Mode) is used.
