NotMyFault not working on Windows 7

Hi,

whenever I try to open notmyfault.exe (both 32 AND 64 bit versions) on Windows 7 Virtual Machine, I recieve an error saying:

"Can't Load myfault.sys. The system cannot find the file specified

Verify that you have administrative privileges. Make sure the NotMyFault is not already running and that you have the correct version the matches the architecture of your system."

I've even ran them as adminisrator and the same error comes up. Is there any way I can fix this problem to get NotMyFault running? It works on Windows 11 perfectly

What version of Windows 7 do you have? I have two W7 VMs, one is 32-bit Enterprise the other is 64-bit Home Premium. I get the same error as you in Enterprise, but it runs fine in Home Premium.

The only thing I can think is to check if the named file, "MyFault.sys" is actually there alongside NotMyFault.exe, as both file always need to be together for the whole thing to work. There is nothing special besides that, and the program should work in pretty much every version of Windows in the same way.
